Balochistan: Ideas can never be enslaved or destroyed – Mama Qadeer
News>The hunger strike camp of families of Baloch Missing Persons entered in 1212nd day. Among many others a delegation of Baloch Gohaar Movement also visited the camp to express solidarity.
The delegation said that we do not agree with those people who have constrained the history to a limited number of personalities. The real history belongs to those who fought against brutality and oppression together as nations. In struggle against tyranny the oppressed nations may lose at instances but this loss is only temporary and sincere strugglers always win the war in long run.
They further said that true children of Baloch motherland sacrificed their lives and comfort to engrain a sense of struggle in the Baloch nation. They proved to be a light of hope for the whole Baloch nation and following their footsteps many Baloch are heading towards the ultimate goal.
The Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Mama Qadeer, said that violence and brutality may kill bodies but they can never kill ideologies. Individuals and groups can be slayed with the use of force but ideas can never be enslaved or destroyed.

Pakistan barbarism continues in Balochistan, International Community must take notice: Qadeer Baloch
They said that everyone including children, youth and elders are sacrificing their lives in this struggle for independence. Many families are living in a vacuum after losing their loved ones.
Master Ali Jan was also a great man who sacrificed his life for this motherland. The martyr was an educated man belonging to Jahoo area of Balochistan. His sacrifice is very encouraging for the whole area and it has increased the consciousness of people of the area.
From the day one Master Ali Jan vocally opposed all collaborators of enemy state. He always taught people about their right to live a free and independent life in a free country. He continuously struggled for the independence of Balochistan.
The Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Mama Qadeer, said that barbarities by the Pakistani state continue in Balochistan and are reaching a new height every day. The criminal silence of International humanitarian organizations and United Nations has given full impunity to the terrorism of Pakistani forces and secret agencies. Whoever speaks for their rights is killed by personnel of security agencies straight away.
Aboriginal youth threatens Taliban-type violence in Canada at 'Occupy Toronto' Fundraiser hosted at Ryerson Univesity in Toronto.
A group of people from 'Occupy Toronto' set up camp on
campus at Ryerson University this weekend to Live Broadcast an 80-hour Fundraiser
over Livestream.
At about 2:45PM Saturday afternoon the Livestream camera was
handed to a young aboriginal man named Billy who says he comes from near the
Conawapa Dam in Manitoba. In his monologue, 'Billy' unleashes violent, racist
and anti-White and anti-Jew anger into the camera. The highlights included
talking about killing CSIS & RCMP Agents, killing White people, and
outright Holocaust denial.
This is the type of young man who will be easy prey to
Islamist jihadis, if the two groups ever rub shoulders in a meaningful manner.
Right now, Islamists on campus merely use the First Nations as props at their
anti-West workshops and demos.
What A Wonderful World!: Get Raped In Dubai And You'll Serve 16 Months In Prison.
Janet Jackson with new husband Wissam al Mana:
he fired alleged rape victim Marte Deborah Dalelv.

The circumstances are complicated but, after listening to an interview Dalelv has given to Ritula Shah of the BBC’s World Service, I haven’t the slightest doubt she is the victim of a grotesque miscarriage of justice: not only is she telling the truth but the Dubai court knows it. As for her colleague, he is probably a local man though he seems not to have been named in English-language accounts. You can listen to the podcast here (the interview is about 9 minutes into the program). here and here are some other useful links.A court in Dubai has sentenced a young Norwegian woman, Marte Deborah Dalelv, to 16 months in jail after she brought charges of rape against a colleague. Dismissing her allegations, the court saw fit instead to find her guilty of drinking alcohol and wanting the sex that she alleged was forced upon her. Meanwhile she was fired by her Qatar-born employer, the interior designer Wissam al Mana, who is otherwise known as Janet Jackson’s latest husband. (See postscript below for a statement from al Mana’s company.)
Why would the victim of a terrible crime receive a jail sentence? Asia is not America, and for me, as someone who has spent 27 years watching the world from a vantage point in East Asia, the episode illustrates in microcosm an obvious and profoundly troubling fact: globalism is a one-word oxymoron. It has never made sense and probably never will. Cultures are different and, in their attitude to truth and human rights, the many brands of Asian culture are particularly remote from Western expectations.
Certainly, all American wishful thinking to the contrary, the world is NOT converging to American values. Yes, of course, more and more consumers around the world are drinking Coca-Cola and eating Big Macs. But this is a superficial observation that says nothing about any values worth the name.
Of course, Dubai, which is the most populous constituent of the United Arab Emirates, seems on a superficial view to be highly Westernized. A more accurate description is that Dubai is highlyeconomically advanced. It is home, for instance, to major regional operations of such U.S. corporations as Hewlett-Packard, EMC Corporation, Oracle Corporation, Microsoft, and IBM. It also boasts the world’s tallest building, the 163-floor Burj Khalifa. Meanwhile the Emirates airline, which is based in Dubai, counts, on some measures, not only as the world’s largest international carrier but the world’s best (it was so designated a few months ago by the British consultancy, Skytrax).
But Dubai’s official religion is Islam — and not a particularly liberal brand. This means that Westerners are tolerated only under sufferance. Western women in particular are not always welcome. This despite the fact that Dubai features one of the most disturbingly imbalanced male-female ratios in world history: in the overall population, males outnumber females more than three to one. The ratio for adults is probably even more imbalanced. The only foreign women who seem to be welcome are prostitutes, particularly Russian and Indian ones. Other foreign women enter Dubai at their own risk and woe betide them if they rock the boat. The status of ordinary decent local women in Dubai is powerfully symbolized by the fact that wives can be beaten with impunity so long as no marks are left.
Justice in an American sense does not exist. For me the characteristically Asian aspect of Marte Deborah Dalelv’s fate is that she has been indicted on a “crime” – drinking alcohol – that is widely tolerated among other foreign residents of Dubai. Basically she is a victim of a principle I call “selective enforcement.” It is a principle that is observable in many parts of Asia (see my books on Japan and China for a fuller account). The idea is that though a lot of things are nominally illegal, they are widely tolerated – provided only you don’t rock the boat on issues that matter more to the authorities. The tax system in many East Asian nations provides an example. Although taxes are ostensibly high, the authorities turn a blind eye to some types of evasion – provided only taxpayers show “discretion” on what really matters. One example that can be succinctly described is the South Korean government’s policy (one learned from Japan in a previous era) on foreign cars. There are no import barriers – absolutely none, except that the tax authorities make a policy of auditing anyone who buys a foreign car. In a nation where much of the tax code is considerable “optional,” this elegantly end-runs American pressure to open the market.
The larger point here is that Eastern and Western cultures are mutually incompatible. Rudyard Kipling made the point more than a century ago: “Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet.”
My bet is that, on appeal, Marte Deborah Dalelv will be shown some leniency. But for globalism, the Asians will never cut much slack. This applies in spades to the naïve American view that globalization and Americanization are somehow the same thing (thank you George H. W. Bush, William Jefferson Clinton, and, of course, Thomas L. Friedman). Asians are incandescent with rage at such casual cultural imperialsm but, being Asians, rarely give any explicit indication of their anger. They expect people to read between the lines.
Postscript
I have now received an official statement from Al Mana’s company. See below.
(July 20, 2013) – “We are sympathetic to Marte Dalelv during this very difficult situation. Al Mana Interiors has repeatedly offered Marte support and company representatives were by her side throughout the initial investigation and police interviews, and spent days at both the police station and the prosecutor’s office to help win her release.
“Company representatives have been supportive and in communication with Marte throughout her ordeal. Only when Ms. Dalelv declined to have positive and constructive discussions about her employment status, and ceased communication with her employer, was the company forced to end our relationship with her. The decision had nothing to do with the rape allegation, and unfortunately neither Ms. Dalelv nor her attorneys have chosen to contact the company to discuss her employment status.
“We continue to be open to helping Ms. Dalelv and extending her resources during the Dubai legal process. We are hopeful that we can resume a positive discussion about the assistance she needs during this difficult time.”
Nation of Islam' and denial of its Killing fields!

| Heartless assassins removed an icon of democracy and pluralism in Pakistan, however, political expediency took over the better of our conscious, in a sorrowful display of politics over her dead body the nation imploded within. Her killers remain at large in the wilderness. |
Suicide bombers have traumatized the conscience of our nation. Instead of outright condemnation of the civil society, it is intellectually fashionable to draw moral equivalence holding poor social conditions as catalyst of these acts; it is poor judgment and disregard of history. Heartless assassins removed an icon of democracy and pluralism in Pakistan, however, political expediency took over the better of national conscious, in a sorrowful display of politics over her dead body the nation imploded within. Her killers remain at large in the wilderness.
Everyone else including 'Musharraf and Qatil League' are blamed by 'Zardari and Nawaz' except the heartless 'extremists' who extinguish her life in prime. Their congratulatory messages are denied as fabricated, their blood lust is dismissed as response to global aggressions. The vendetta of bloodletting continues as the terrorists cherry pick their choicest victims. Imagine their delight, for killing BB they remain scot free plus have been able to create enough confusion to get the entire administration in a murky water. Conspiracy theory have finally matured to become part of national psyche. Benazir callous murder is being confused on altar of politics and these killers will now kill the same very people who are politicising this as Musharraf and Qatil League' conspiracy.
Catch the killer, eliminate Baitullah Mehsud, he is the mastermind, the whole world knows it but 'Zardari PPP' wants to use the politics of her murder to 'bulldoze' their opponents. This political expediency will help killers of Benazir to exact revenge from the children of our nation. This will be like a 'Karma' resulting from callous attitude of PPP.
Whenever wicked fundamentalists have taken over reins of affairs they have gone for the jugular. Extremists have a single point agenda whereby 'worldly decadence' needs to be abolished for blessings and rewards of the after world. None of devotion but their kind can gratify them, every strain of deviancy over times have its own brand of virtuous approach, these anarchists at one point have inflicted devastation on embryonic societies of Islam. They martyred three out of four righteous caliphs of Islam. For medieval 'Assassins' (hashishins) greatest warrior of Islam Salahuddin Ayyubi was an 'infidel' and did not have well enough of sacred credentials, they attacked to take his life several times. The man from 'oil rich 'Asir' or Bin Laden require no social benefits. It is about imposition of their brand of thinking on others, those who draw moral equivalence of these criminal acts are in state of denial. If 'Ayubi' was not good enough no one can ever be a good Muslim by the puritan standards of deviancy.
Let's start calling spade the spade, whenever, tolerance has been overtaken by bigotry, blinkered ness and singularity; nations and empires have just withered away. At heart of hatred, viciousness and venomous intensity lies intolerance, bigotry and inability to ever find the enemy within. Fanaticism is an evil of a society that corrodes the elegance of any culture. It is most amazing that most of the Muslims like to refer to the 'Golden age of Islam' but refuse to appreciate its underpinnings! Tolerant rulers –who saw knowledge without ownership of any creed and expand knowledge to new frontiers. The lack of intellectual progress within the Muslim world suggests something is terribly wrong, their inability to point out their own weaknesses and look at history objectively instead of subjectively they have not been able to learn any lessons from their past.
Pluralism of Ideas and the prosperity of any land are intertwined. Freedom of minds and skill of intellect to 'think the unthinkable' is how humanity has progressed; when minds are incarcerated nothing endures. Renaissance within all three monolithic religions was built around norms of free mind; renaissance was about literature, architecture, arts and chiseling of marble to exquisite forms. David could only be created by the love of the free labor of Michelangelo an enslaved mind cannot be an artist or a creator. Enslaved man can be a revolutionary and many a enslave people have helped changed the world but their minds were free they accepted death instead of compromise with totalitarian or dogmatic despotism.
It's appalling that with all of their oil wealth, two-thirds of the world's poorest people live in Muslim countries? Why, in the last 20 years, have over million people died in conflicts involving intra Muslim wars? Why are democracy and the rule of law nonexistent in most Muslim states? Why most of the worst acts of terrorism do are carried out in the name of Islam? It is totally wrong to quote Baghdad and Cordoba as models of successful Islamic societies if the conditions of those model societies are today abhorred by the main body of Islam, the tolerance required just does not exist, taking history out of context is the biggest injustice that Muslims commit. A clerical state would not be ever able to address the complex problems of governance the world poses today, the separation of state from institutions of clergy is a must for any society to develop. Poverty as a part of the Islamic society is not by design but by efforts, over reliance of 'will of Allah' and lack of freedom leads to poverty of a nation, mental as well as physical. Loyalty to the institutions of nation beyond those demanded by the religion has torn the mind of Muslims. Muslim should be loyal to the state where he swears an allegiance and not to the creed he follows.
During the Golden Age there was particularly strong tradition of rationalists, the Mutazilites. They stressed a human being's inherent free will countering the predestinarians, who taught that everything was foreordained. The Mutazilites carefully cultivated an 'enlightened moderation' and allowed for the growth of knowledge and in their active promulgation and acceptance of Science as a part of the religion doctrine they brought to the Islamic world her Golden Age.
This guidance was advanced by the renowned thinkers such as Avicenna, Al-Raazi, Al Ma'ari and Omar Khayyam; each of whom would later be remembered for the striking global contribution to the field of art, science and logic. The decline set in when the puritan Al-Ghazali began to undermine this rationalistic tradition and instead push for dogma over thought, obedience over free will and the primacy of doctrine. It was the beginning of the end as Al-Ghazali strove to put a stop to the tradition that had cultivated the greatest of the Islamic thinkers and instead stifle the unbridled creativity of the Islamic world.
Thus the civilization of Islam began to falter as 'Destiny' persevered over reason and logic-and Lenient ecclesiastical and priestly control once again tightened over the free Muslim people. With the will of Allah sufficing to explain everything risk no longer matter and Muslim commerce began to dramatically suffer. The banking and finance capitals that could have emerged in the coastal cities and regions of Alexandria, the Yemen and Sumatra, as rivals to Europe were stemmed in their infancy. Any belief that employs "guardians of truth'' on shaping of landscape of intellect will implode. It is said that 'Crutches of faith are introduced when reason sink exhausted.' It is an paradox that when curtain of dogma was descending within the Islamic lands killing free thinking it was slowly and steadily rising in Italy and northern Europe.
A dark age within any civilization is characterized with dogmatic extremism that denies civil liberties, including freedom of religion and justice or the right to a fair trial. Golden age on the other hand is about the freedom of expression and availability of justice for the downtrodden. A society is judged not by its standards of the richest but by the way the under privileged and the poorest live. A minor renaissance within the regions under the influence of Islam can be traced but the conditions that help 'seeds of reason' to take roots that are essential for freethinking were just not allowed to be nurtured.
The world cannot remain hostage to medievalists, this modern fight has to be seen in its intellectual, historical and geographical context, the Islamic world today is trying to reignite its lost renaissance, this is the age of Islamic renaissance, people who are meant to cure our ills are out in the open to slaughter and maim thousands, apparently educated are mentally demented, this the age that was for 500 years escaped the region and hence helped establish a void of reason and rational. Respect of life is the first sign of an educated mind, the most important creation of providence being subject to dynamite is a work of an evil Lucifer, lets not mix it, any mind that plots to maim and kill has not evolved, it has remained stuck in medieval hatreds of the past.
