Balochistan: Military operation in Mongchar, Ispilingi, Johan and surrounding areas, two killed.

 

Quetta: Pakistan military have started an offensive operation in Esplingi, Johan, Mongchar and other adjoining areas of Balochistan on Saturday morning. At least two people have reportedly been killed and seven have been abducted.

Local sources reported that the military used gunship helicopters and ground forces to attack the unarmed civilians.

After the wanton attack on Baloch nomads, the Baloch freedom fighters from nearly by mountains have reportedly come down to defend the defenceless Baloch civilians.

There have been reports of fierce fighting between Baloch freedom fighters and the Pakistani security forces in different places. The Pakistan military have reportedly burned down many houses belonging to nomads and set on fire their standing crops.

According to latest reports at least two Baloch men have been killed and seven have been abducted by Pakistan military so far. The military is still present in the area and the fighting continued until the filing of this report.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan military have intensified its brutal operations across Balochistan after the failed elections. Saturday’s operation was conducted at a time when the newly selected members of the Balochistan Assembly have taken oath.

Meanwhile the Baloch pro-independence political parties have termed Saturday’s military operation a message for the newly government of Balochistan that they will have no power to stop killing and abduction of Baloch people by Pakistan military intelligence and the ISI.

Quetta:In a pre-dawn raid on Friday, Frontier Corps personnel killed a cousin of self-exiled Baloch leader Khan of Kalat and whisked away another of his cousin.

According to family members, some two dozen FC personnel conducted a search operation of all houses belonging close relatives of Khan of Kalat Agha Mir Suleman Daud Khan.

During the operation, the personnel wanted to whisk away two real brothers Agha Mehrab Khan and Agha Najib Ahmedzai, but in the wake of scuffle, one of the security personnel shot Mahrab at a close range.

As a result bullet hit Mehrab’s throat and he died due to excessive loss of blood. Before returning, the security personnel whisked away Mahrab’s younger brother, Agha Najib, 19 and his two friend named as Shams Lehri and Shah Jan Lehri.

Meanwhile, the pro-independent Baloch political parties including the Baloch National Voice, the Baloch Salvations Front (a Coalition of Baloch Liberation Party, Baloch Watan Movement, and Baloch Gohaar Movement), the Baloch Republican Party and the Baloch Liberation Struggle in their separate statements have paid rich tributes of Agha Mehrab Khan Baloch.

They termed the raid on Agha Nadir Khan’s houses as the continuation of Baloch genocide by Pakistan. The pro-freedom Baloch parties vowed to continue the struggle for liberation of Balochistan. They said Pakistan was using brute force against Baloch civilians and committing unpardonable crimes under international laws.
