Police in the
Pakistani city of Karachi say they have freed 11 children and youths who had
been kidnapped and forced to work as beggars. Two men accused of running the
forced begging ring have been arrested. The children, aged between eight and
15, come from different regions of Pakistan. (RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal)
