Koh-e-Murdar must have felt agonized today to see Shaal (Quetta) because the Shaal of Baluchistan bled drastically on Saturday morning. The daughters of Baluch land were targeted for no crime on their part. Dressed in white, which drenched to red with their blood, these innocent children of now anguished families could not decipher their crime? Was it getting education? Being born in Baluchistan or anything else that lured their unforeseen death? The grief of families who sent their young daughters in the morning and received back nothing but shards of meat in the evening is beyond comprehension.

Today’s attack is one of the most despicable and appalling acts. The attackers cowardly blew up a student laden university bus and killed many female students but their thirst for blood didn’t satiated here and later on they targeted the injured students and doctors at the emergency ward of Bolan Medical College and kept the injured and doctors as hostages for many hours. No matter how much such acts are condemned is not enough. But this is nothing new in Baluchistan.

The Baluch land has suffered harshly since it lost its territory and sovereignty to foreign invaders and occupiers. The last six decades have remained the worst with each succeeding decade getting cruellest than the preceding and each coming year proving to be more fatal, bloody and barbaric than the previous. But the recent surge in state backed terror infiltration in Baluch land is incomparable. This has started to shake the very social fabric of Baluch society and soon it will overpower many social values, preferences and way of life.

The sectarian Islamic terrorists first surfaced in early 2000 and killed scores of Shiites in different attacks, which also include suicide attacks on Imam Bargahs (Places of worship). But after few arrests their operational activities came to a halt. Meanwhile, the Baluch struggle for liberation of Baluch land gained momentum and it proved to be a headache for Pakistani security establishment. Surprisingly the arrested leaders of Lashkar e Jangavi, who were responsible for sectarian attacks, escaped from a very high security prison located in Quetta contentment. With little effort of assembling jigsaw puzzle, it becomes clear that the escape of these terrorists was a pre-planned strategy to counter Baluch struggle in coming years.

Gradually the Islamists started preparing for their motives but with stealth planning and silent methods. Millions of funds were poured into religious seminaries all over Baluchistan. At least two training camps, one each in suburbs of Mastung and Khuzdar, tinted as Mederrasahs started operating and heaven knows how many bloodthirsty goons graduated from there.
The yield of these strategies was used in two different methods but the target was common – to counter the Baluch struggle. The likes of Shafeeq Mengal, who also heads Lashkar e Tayyaba, on the behest and support of Pakistani agencies, were groomed to target and prosecute Baluch activists. Whereas, Lashkar-e-Jangvi, which now has many Baluch foot soldiers, was ordered to ignite sectarian violence in the province to paint Baluch struggle as total opposite of what it really is. The secular struggle of Baluch nation is tirelessly and extensively being wrongly branded as a nexus between fundamentalist LeJ and secular Baluch fighters. The fact of Baluch being the members of LeJ is supporting them considerably.

Parallel with Baluch Mussala Diffa Tanzeem, the activities of LeJ are getting more powerful and more lethal. First they only targeted Shiites but now their field of activities have broaden up to an extent that they are viciously targeting civilians regardless of gender, caste and creed. Attacks on female is considered a very low act in Baluch society but these terrorists have been so dangerously brainwashed that they do not wobble in going to any extent.

The silence of Baluch elders on these dangerous developments is ironical. Apart from few lone statements there has been no any practical effort to counter this quagmire. Either there is some miscalculation or sheer apathy on part of Baluch political elders, in either of the cases it will prove very perilous for the Baluch struggle.

The blood of daughters spilled today in Shaal is demanding Baluch political brains to sit together to devise ways to defeat the dangerous plots of enemy as the LeJ, BMDT and the likes are getting powerful and stronger with each coming day.

United Nations has designated 26th June as the International Day against Torture. This day is designated to emphasize the importance of the right to personal dignity and security for all individuals around the world. It is the day to remember that each person’s rights are protected and guaranteed within the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Highlighting the significance of this day the former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said: "This is a day on which we pay our respects to those who have endured the unimaginable. This is an occasion for the world to speak up against the unspeakable. It is long overdue that a day be dedicated to remembering and supporting the many victims and survivors of torture around the world."
Like other occupied Nations around the world the Baluch Nation have also been facing torture, death, destruction, extra judicial killings and arrests and enforced disappearances since the illegal occupation of their motherland by the states of Iran and Pakistan. Both Islamic states have committed unprecedented atrocities in Baluchistan. Many hundreds of Baloch political activists have been tortured and killed under torture in detention. Those who have survived the ordeal are left with permanent emotional and physical disabilities.
At present around 15,297 Baluch political and student activists have been forcefully disappeared and more than 680 dead bodies have been found. “In 2013 alone, Many Baloch every day Pakistani intelligence agencies disappeared, and June has not ended yet ,by Pakistani state intelligence agencies. Hundreds are behind bars for crimes they did not commit. The situation of the Baloch people is not any better under Iranian occupied Baluchistan. No single day goes by without arrest, imprisonment, torture and execution of a Baloch person. Hindus been executed , killed and force marriage and Christian been killed, houses were burned and all minority been killed . minority were been killed .Christian houses were burned .Christian have not right to do anything. Hindus girls been forced marriage by Islamic extremists. Hindus are major migration’s from Balochistan and Sindh. Hindus living these house because of extremism and security problem. Many families move to India.

4 days of Dr. Malik Gov.; 8 bodies of Baloch missing person found in Balochistan.

  BALOCHISTAN: Three more bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons were found in Balochistan on Wednesday(12 June 2013). Two of the bodies have identified whereas the identity of one the body could not be ascertained immediately.

According to details on a tip-off the police found a body near Gazgi area in main city of Khuzdar. The SHO of the city Police station in Khuzdar confirmed that the police have been informed on Wednesday morning that a boy was spotted near Gazgi areas of Khuzdar.
The police have taken the body to their custody and shifted it to Divisional Headquarter Hospital where the body was identified as that of Mir Gull, a resident of Kharan area of Balochistan. The doctors said that deceased had been killed from a point-blank range few hours before his body was found.
The corpse has been handed over to relative of the deceased after fulfilling legal formalities.
Another body was found on Sakran road in the industrial town of Hub, close to Karachi when locals informed the police. Post-mortem report said the deceased, who was presumably in his 40s, had been shot in the head. The body is reportedly a few months ago.
The body has been kept in a morgue and the identity of the victim could not be ascertained so far.
A third body was found at the precincts of Turbat Cultural centre in Turbat town of Balochistan. The deceased has been identified as Hasil Khan Son of Malang. He was reportedly a resident of Kalatuk Nok Kehn area of Turbat.
It is worthy mentioning here that Dr. Malik Baloch took oath as Chief Minter of Balochtan on 9 June and on the same day 5 mutilated bodies of previously abducted Baloch were found. In four days of his government now total of 8 bodies of Baloch missing persons have been found.
FROM BEFORE: Two mutilated and acidified bodies that were found near Turbat on 28 May 2013 still could not be identified. According hospital sources acids were splashed on their faces due to which it has become difficult to identify them.

The future of any nation always falls into the hands of its present generation. Each consecutive generation is the interconnecting link between the past and the future. In turn every generation is the product of the collective experience of their ancestors. The current generation in Baluchistan has bestowed the historical inheritance of previous generations. Transmission of all the experience, knowledge, good and bad to the next generation is involuntary consequence of one’s place of birth. One’s birthplace is entirely accidental. The offspring, somehow, instinctively slot in their heritage as if it is an identity of their own creation. Each generation is an end result of a different time. The necessities and requirements of their time demand different moral, social, political, legal, cultural and economic structures. This is because history indiscriminately tends to put forward different challenges in front of each newcomer while preserving its unique, striking continuity. Corresponding to the reality of time each passing generation also leaves their exclusive historical footprint on the repository of their history.

No child can decide the social, cultural, economic, political and legal conditions in which he or she is born. These conditions are pre-determined. Baluch children in Baluchistan cannot choose the place and the conditions in which they wish to be born. These conditions are prearranged and do not develop out of their conscious will and desire. Children everywhere are lumbered with a pre-set of a given repository legacy. They are presented with a toolkit that contains the tools, skills, knowledge and experience to survive in their distinctive environment. This baggage is the most vital source of maintaining and taking forward their unique way of life.

At its core every ancestral heritage carries a dynamic catalyst constituent. This is a form of building block that nurtures the embryo of further social, cultural, political, technological and economic transformation. We bequeath from our ancestors an encyclopaedia of knowledge and skills that feed our time-machine of progress. But there are always two sides to this story. On one hand if we use what we inherit delicately and wisely, our heritage can pave the way to greater prosperity, harmony, equality, tolerance and liberty. In contrast, if historical baggage is accepted uncritically it will remain hollow. Under these circumstances a stagnated society will be amenable to widening poverty, cruelty, bigotry, intolerance and subjugation.

Each social and national setting contains both these potential elements. Under suitable conditions both sides can be nurtured. At all times these two elements coexist side by side. It is the domination of one over the other that will either make or break a nation. The needs of all types of dictatorship will not advance beyond the degenerative elements of our heritage. For this reason under all types of political and religious dictatorship; the humane, democratic, dynamic and progressive elements will stagnate. The retreat would be considerably greater when a nation is under illegal occupation. If the occupying states happened to be comprised of criminal and fundamentalist interests the outcome would tantamount to catastrophe. These states deliberately target the youth of the nation under their illegal occupation. They design and forge a tag of bondage and hang it on the neck of every child that is born in the conquered nation.

In order to create a sense of legitimacy to expropriation of other nations’ land much of the occupying states’ plan is to impose a false history, culture, language, moral, aesthetic and social values. The invaders deliberately wish to discard and forget about the pre-occupation era as soon as they can. By denying completely the inheritance of the subjugated nation they grossly exaggerate their claim of being in charge of every facet of life of the nation under their occupation. To posit subjugation and yet expect vitality and development of one’s national heritage is self-contradictory. Such purposive actions under the yoke of colonialism, in the course of time, will substitute deception with truth. Ignorance replaces knowledge. Tyranny overshadows liberty. Stagnation and poverty surpass progress and development in a way that conforms to the desires and needs of the occupying states. The colonial system entices compulsive fraudsters into a cartel of conspiracy and gives them infinite power to manipulate, distort and control the conquered nation.

It should be born in mind that by a systematic plan of brainwashing the youth of subjugated nation, the occupying states then will inject the venom of timidity and submission. In this way they try to turn the youth of the subjugated nation into an instrument of self-destruction. They force them to deny their history, culture, language, music, art, moral, aesthetic and social values. Hence, they pave the way for total dependency to their oppressive rule. These dependencies come in form of economic, political, legal and also religious dependency. Combination of systematic deception, dependency, unrestrained cruelty and fear will destroy the actual potential, energy, motives, incentives, desire and the impetus for change and improvement.

Mother of abducted Baloch student threatens Self-immolation in front of UN office.

Family of zakir majeed baloch

The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons and family of abducted Baloch student Zakir Majeed Baloch took out a protest rally on Saturday 8 June 2013 for safe release of Zakir Majeed Baloch. Mr Majeed was abducted four years ago on 8 June 2009 from Mastung area of Balochistan. 

The rally was led by the Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Qadeer Baloch, and the family of Zakir Majeed. A large number of Baloch activists and students took part in rally to express their support with family of enforced-disappeared person in Balochistan. 

The participants of the rally were carrying placards, banners and images of the abducted Baloch. They chanted slogans against disappearances and for the release of their loved ones. 

Addressing the rally speakers said that government officials of different levels gave them false hope and assurance that their relatives will be released but they failed to fulfil their promises. A large number of abducted Baloch have been killed under-custody by Pakistan army and other security agencies. 

“Even the Chief Justice of Pakistan has failed to recover the enforced-disappeared Baloch activists. He has been saying that he will take action against those responsible for abduction of innocent Baloch but so far has not taken any practical steps to implement his orders,” said the speakers.

Meanwhile, the sister of Zakir Majeed Baloch held a press conference at Quetta Press Club and read a message from the mother of Baloch student. 

According to the message of Zakir Majeed’s mother her son was abducted on 8 June 2009 from Paring Abad area of Matung in Balochistan. She said her son was innocent but if the security agencies have any proof against him then he should be presented to a court and punished according law of the land. 

She said her son’s only crime was that he’s a Baloch student and was active in politics. “Politics in Balochistan has become a crime,” she said.

“We are hearing the statements of the new Chief Minister that he will recover the abducted Baloch person but such rhetoric are not new to us as we have been hearing them from past many years. I am still living with the hope that tomorrow my son will be released,” Message of Zakir Majeed’s mother read. 

Addressing the United Nations in her message she demanded form the UN to take action against her son’s abduction and pressurise Pakistani to release him. “If my son is not released, I will set myself alight in front of the office of United Nations. For which UN will be responsible.”

She also urged the Amnesty International, Human Right Watch, UNHCR and other international human rights organisations to play their role for her son’s release. 

Meanwhile the Baloch social media activists have started a campaign on twitter for the release of Zakir Majeed and other abducted Baloch persons using hashtag #FreeZakirMajeed to create awareness about enforced-disappearances in Balochistan.
