Quetta:In a pre-dawn raid on Friday, Frontier Corps personnel killed a cousin of self-exiled Baloch leader Khan of Kalat and whisked away another of his cousin.

According to family members, some two dozen FC personnel conducted a search operation of all houses belonging close relatives of Khan of Kalat Agha Mir Suleman Daud Khan.

During the operation, the personnel wanted to whisk away two real brothers Agha Mehrab Khan and Agha Najib Ahmedzai, but in the wake of scuffle, one of the security personnel shot Mahrab at a close range.

As a result bullet hit Mehrab’s throat and he died due to excessive loss of blood. Before returning, the security personnel whisked away Mahrab’s younger brother, Agha Najib, 19 and his two friend named as Shams Lehri and Shah Jan Lehri.

Meanwhile, the pro-independent Baloch political parties including the Baloch National Voice, the Baloch Salvations Front (a Coalition of Baloch Liberation Party, Baloch Watan Movement, and Baloch Gohaar Movement), the Baloch Republican Party and the Baloch Liberation Struggle in their separate statements have paid rich tributes of Agha Mehrab Khan Baloch.

They termed the raid on Agha Nadir Khan’s houses as the continuation of Baloch genocide by Pakistan. The pro-freedom Baloch parties vowed to continue the struggle for liberation of Balochistan. They said Pakistan was using brute force against Baloch civilians and committing unpardonable crimes under international laws.
