 Bodies of two previously abducted Baloch activists were found in Karachi whereas one Baloch activist was shot dead in Washuk region of Balochistan on Sunday, and with them the number of the abducted Baloch’s bodies found in Karachi reached nine in past few weeks.


The victims were identified as Master Abdul Rehman, 40, and Zahid Hussain, 24. Their tortured and bullet-ridden dead bodies were found in bushes near Link Road, Steel Town in Malir region of Karachi.

Both men were on the list of abducted Baloch persons. According to records on bygwaah.com, the official website of International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Master Abdul Rehman was abducted on 24 February, 2013 during a raid on his houses in Chitkan Gharibabad area of Panjgur, Balochistan. Another four Baloch activists were also abducted also with Abdul Rehman including Shakir Baloch, Karim Jan, Ghulam Jan and Aman Jan. Their fate and whereabouts remains unknown.

The IVBMP record shows that Zahid Pazeer Baloch was abducted on 28 January, 2013 from Raees Goth Karachi. Zahid was also originally from Panjbur but was studying in Karachi at the time of his arrest. Another two Baloch students namely Ejaz Ghulam Baloch S/of Ghulam Jan Baloch , Wasim Fazal Baloch S/of Fazal Karim Baloch Baloch, who were also abducted with Zahid Baloch from Raees Goth and Dalmia area of Karachi, are still in the custody of Pakistani security agencies.

Meanwhile, the vice-chairman of Voice for Missing Baloch Persons, Abdul Qadir Baloch, said Abdul Reham Baloch was a leader of Baloch National Movement (BNM) and also a teacher at a government secondary school in Panjgur and Hussain was a college student in Karachi.

“Dumping the bodies of Baloch activists in Karachi is becoming a daily routine. We have found 9 bodies of Baloch activists in the past two-and-a-half months. We are very much concern about the safety of the other people who were abducted with Master Abdul Rehman and Zahid Baloch,” Said Abdul Qadeer Baloch.

The deceased were taken to their hometown in Balochistan to be buried.

Washuk one killed two abducted: One person was killed and another injured, while the remaining two abducted on board a car, which came under fierce firing at Washuk, Balochistan on Sunday.

According to Levis sources four persons on board a car were on way towards Basima area, when some 20 kilometers away from Basima unknown persons targeting the car opened fire that killed Dost Muhammad and wounded Hazoor Bukhsh, while the other two were abducted.

The Baloch political parties have said that these four men were well-wishers of Baloch freedom struggle and have been target by Pakistani security forces and their hired criminal proxy groups.

The Baloch National Movement in a statement said that, “Pakistani security forces first opened firing at a shop in Washuk and critically injured Hazoor Bakhsh. The other three men were taking him to hospital when their car was intercepted and fired upon. Dost Mohammad Baloch died on spot whereas his other two friends were abducted.”
